It's a definity ver 6 with audix (forgive me I forget the ver they are on if needed I will go back and check). Short story is... User forwards her phone to her cell when she goes to lunch. If you make the call directly to her phone it forwards fine, she receives the call. But if you get transfered to her phone somehow, be it from an attendent menu in audix or from the front desk it won't go through. Audix tells you the transfer cannot be made at this time try later. The front desk tells you she can transfer the call but it won't let her release the call. The phone gives the little half ring when it is called, you know the one that's says, hey, I'm forwarded, but never makes it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ed

This may give you something to try..

1. Create a coverage path (or use the one she has) and add a next linkage.
2. Set the next linkage up so it would only work with SAC activated (which would work for lunch). Do this on the coverpath form.

When a call comes in, the switch will look into the coverage path and when SAC is activated go to that path (R1) and then go to her cell. She comes back from lunch hits SAC and she receives her calls normally and follows her normal cover path.

Just a thought.

Tried doing that but I think the problem is in audix somehow. It is not even following her call path. I took everything out and only put in the remote point that was pointing to a cell phone and still went to her office voicemail somehow, didn't even attempt to go to the cell according to the list trace. Problem is I know almost nothing about audix. I will be going back out there today to try and dink around in audix to see what I can see. Thanks for attempt.

I can't find anything that would be preventing this call to go through. Is there a supervised / unsupervised transfer option in audix somewhere. My suspicion is that it is trying to do a supervised transfer and the forwarded call is preventing it from releasing for some reason. Any thoughts?....Anyone.

Basically you are doing a "double" forward which the switch will not allow, unless you are using EC500, which you do not have on a V-6.
On the operator calls you could cheat and use trunk to trunk transfer to send the calls directly to the cell phone, or out and back to the DID number. But the downside of that is tying up 2 to 3 trunks in the process.

You might set up time of day coverage, one path for day and with remote coverage to the Cell, and one path for out of business hours with standard coverage (vm) for night. Then using send calls (not call fwd) will route the call to the cell during the day, and voice mail at night. The downside to this is that with r-cover the call will not return to voice mail if the call is unanswered on the cell unless you have "coverage of calls redirected off-net" enabled in system customer options
