Call waiting on huntgroups

Hi I have a cusotmer with and IP office 500 they all calls come in to 1 main hunt group lets say called main. In this group there are 3 people then and overflow gorup with a few more people in. The main group is setup for sequential rinnging as the first person in the list is the reception and should be answering all the calls. The problem is if that person is on the phone the want it still to ring that phone on call apperence b and show the number. This is so they can see the second number coming and and then the reception can pick that call up as a priority if they reconise it.

Is this possible as seems to work for DDI's to users but these call are for Hunt groups.

you could change it to collective call waiting, although then all 3 will ring at the same time. you could add an extra overflow group to get the same setup you have now.

Hi thanks for that I didnt even know that feature was there as soon as I changed the ringing to collective call waiting it did excactly what we need. Now any other calls that come display on the phone as well so they can choose to swap calls. Many thanks TOM

Watch the call in monitor and see what that tells you, also does it say anything about the card itself?
