I have an issue/question. A customer has embedded voicemail with SIP trunk licensing for external branch dialing by extension. I have the SIP trunks working when dialing from extension to extension. In the Auto Attendant menu options, how do I set up a transfer to go to the extension that is located at another branch?

Does the other branch use a unique extension range?

How did you configure dialing to the other branch?

I'm thinking you may need to build local phantom users for remote branch users and enable forward all calls on the phantom users to send the call over to the remote branch.

Yes, each branch has its own extension range. I built a short code (example: 32N;/Dial/32N/Line Group: 17) with all of the other stuff that involves creating a SIP Trunk/Route.

I was wondering if I would have to create a phantom user to be forwarded unconditionally to that extension like you had mentioned.

I think you would, although I've never done this with EVM.
We both know for sure that EVM is not going to do it for you.

You may have to change your short code to add 32x phantom users to the IPO if the customer will go for it.
Off the top of my head I'm thinking something like 6320 - 6329, of course the 6 could be substituted with a different character or digit.
I'm thinking you could enable the digit 3 for direct dial in EVM, build your 32x phantom users, and then Unconditionally forward them to the associated short code to dial over the SIP trunk.

Or do it properly and buy the voice networking licence and VM pro....hope you have deep pockets :)

or try and build a shortcode with the full dialstring
3212 (assuming here that this is the wasy you would call it
Dial
3212
Line goup ID

EVM will most likely follow the complete shortcode but might have trouble with the placeholder N
