Hi all,

I have a CS1000 with two trunks, a SIP trunk to a Motorola SIP proxy (which connect to Motorola SIP phones), and with a PSTN trunk (it allow to place calls to the PSTN from the Motorola SIP phones behind the proxy). I would like to restrict calls (in the CS1000) to the PSTN for specifics Motorola SIP phones, I mean based on the extension number, for instance:

Motorola phone 1 – Extension: 7000
Motorola phone 2 – Extension: 7001

I want 7000 can place calls to eh PSTN but not 7001.

Is there any way to restrict calls to the PSTN on the CS100 by looking at the incoming caller ID (through the SIP trunk) ?

Regards

In the CS1000 Release 5.50 you have the ability to use the UEXT Universal Extension to mat that SIP DN to a TN profile on the switch. Then when thatusers calls it assumes the charachteristics of the associated UEXT TN.

I would say NO, but I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
