With Nupoint, the solution is a little more complicated but still do-able.
There are a couple of methods using the Nupoint that will do the trick. One I am very familiar with, the other I have only heard of thru this forum and haven't tried.
The first step is to override the inegration much like the FAQ above lays out but forget the * prefix. The goal is to get the integration to work with another DN altogether. Not the secretaries, and not the Managers but a 3rd DN, number doesn't matter. The DN will be a Nametag Hunt group and the last step before voicemail.
Create a matching mailbox to the Nametag DN created above
The above steps are required for either method below.
Option - A (simplest but not the one I am familiar with.)
- Set Mailbox FCOS as rotational Mailbox
- Modify List 1 to be destination mailbox.
Calls to mailbox will automatically proceed to list 1 entry.
Option - B (More complicated but proven)
- Create New FCOS (copying normal one) but add options (in the 170's) for Copy Greeting and Copy Name
- Create New FCOS (copying normal one) but add options 120? "Broadcast", and (in the 170's) for Receive copy Greeting and Receive Copy Name.
Assign 1st Fcos above to Managers Mailbox
Assign 2nd Fcos above to Nametag DN Mailbox
Modify List 9 of Managers MB to include Nametag DN MB
Modify list 1 of Nametag DN Mailbox to include Managers MB
Create New LCOS for Nametag MB to Delete all messages after 1 day (or any reasonable amout to prevent it from filling up.
Get Manager to re-record his name and greeting. it will be copied to the Nametag MB (Mirror)
Callers will get the Nametag MB greeting and leave a message that will then be copied to the Managers mailbox.
