Hi,

Is there away I could change the "call reference value" in the Meridian Option 11c rel 24. I'm using an ISDN with IFC D100. I made a test call, and test call was failed. The call was release by Meridian with a cause value of 100 (means invalid parameters content).The Telco suggest that I'll change the "call reference value" and "length of Channel Id" in the Meridian. I don't have an idea how could I changed those parameters in Meridian.

Below the email and test results from TELCO.

Let me summarize the scenario of the last call attempt you made:

PBX Plexus SS7
----SETUP------>
<--Call Proc----
-------IAM------->
-----Release---> (the release cause code is 100 - Invalid parameter contents)
<---Rel Complete--

The attached file has the decoded ISDN messsages. This time I didn't see Progress message and the call was still released by PBX. So the release of the call has nothing to do with Progress. I doubt PBX does not like something in the Call Proceeding. I observed two issues here:

1) The call reference value sent from PBX has lenghth 1, while it is 2 from Plexus. Is is possible to set it to 2 on PBX?
2) The length of Channel Id in the SETUP is 4, while it is 3 in the Call Proceeding generated by Plexus. Since this is a PRI interface (not NFAS), length 3 is appropriate. Is it possible to change that on PBX side?

ld 96 stat serv, that may need to be turned off. or turned off.

Hi john,

I enable the serv in LD 96 but it doesn't help, so I disabled it again. Is there any way I could change the call reference value? and the length of the Channel ID? Isn't it those parameters are hard coded or built in the system?

Thanks,
