IPO 406v2 running 3.2(17) at both sites VM Pro 3.2(15)

Pressing Call Record at the remote site connects the outside caller to the voicemail and records the line but disconnects the internal party who is trying to record the call. The outside calls come in on POTS lines that are connected to the remote system.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

is the internal extension an IP Phone? i believe there is a limitation that IP phones can't be recorded.

to clarify...this is the limitation with IP phones concerning voice recording...

"Note: The IP Office cannot guarantee recording of calls to or from IP extensions that are set to use Direct Media Path.

Thanks, not an IP phone. The same thing happens on multiple extensions (both 5410 and 5420) but none are IP phones.

The Direct Media Path makes sense, if the voice path isn't going through the IPO it can't actually record it.
