I cannot get my modem to work. Sometimes it answers, then hangs up. Other times it rings and rings. Other times it's busy. I have reset it, power cycled it, threw it and still nothing. Any ideas?

was the modem installed on callpilot before it booted up
this is the most important one of all it has to be installed
before callpilot is booted if it was not do a alt,ctrl,del
and restart the server.
Look for the AA light to be lit as well. SOunds like a dipswitch issue as strmwalker suggested. I had issues before, turned out to be a combo of dip switches and power on/off with replacement modem attached
