Hello all,
I have a question about the call pilot 100. One of our customers has a call pilot 100. It is not connected to there computer network. It is set with the default admin password so different techs can work on the system. I have found that when I use the 7316 phone to program the call pilot the default admin password works just fine. However when I connect the call pilot to my laptop the call pilot asks me to change the password. So I change the password and program it ok. Then when I try to program the call pilot with a 7316 phone it says that my admin password is incorrect. I try the password I set with the laptop and the default password. Neither work. I have to reset the admin password to allow me to program the call pilot with the 7316 phone. I have even tried to set the web browser password the same as the default admin password. Still no luck, I have to reset the admin password to program with the 7316 phone. Why does this happen? Is there a way to stop this?

Thanks

Yes, when logged in using the browser go to "class of service" under "mailbox administration". On COS 7 (or whatever the admin MB is set to) change Password Expiry to 0.

The password change using the browser is for security purposes. When logging in using the browser you only use the password (1234, for example). Then when using F983 you must login using 1021234.
