Call Pilot- MWI keeps turning on

I've got a MWI that lights over night and there are no messages in the mb. When users goes into mb, light will go out again until the next morning.
Tried sending real messages, then clearing with no luck. Searched system for matching MWI DN's and found none. No conflicts w/ SDN either.
One other note even though it may not be relevant- DN is on 500 set for MARP and appears on 3 digital sets w/ XMWK key.
All worked fine for years until @1 week ago.

Would it be practical to delete and rebuild the mailbox? There may be some corruption involved.

I have seen this as well, and have fluked a solution, but am not convinced that what I have done was really a legitimate fix.

The issue that I have seen is that a Digital extn is monitoring multiple DNs for other users. There is no XMWK on the monitoring set

One of these users being monitored has many many messages in the mailbox, and has gone well over the recording limit.

The "dodgey" fix was to delete the mailbox with the excess messages (reason being that it was an unused extension.

Wont guarantee it, but worth a look.

I deleted the MB and rebuilt. Still having the same trouble...

Try doing an advanced search for MWI DN for the ext that keeps lighting. It's probably another mailbox lighting your light.

no, not stupid.. either the advanced search or check for a mik key or do a lamp audit.. the box is powerfull when the force is strong.. but it's not magic
