hi all, i have a call pilot 5.0 server (600r) at my desk right now that was pulled from a working site. it has the SCIS card as well as the dongle, so i was able to boot it up and log in.

my question is, how do i get in to call pilot manager? when i open internet explorer, the url takes me to the login page
but when i try to log in, it doesn't work. i'm using mailbox number 000000, server name "localhost" + the password and it fails each time. i also changed the server name to "callpilot" and it failed each time.

i'm not connected to the network nor a PBX so the blue router service as well as the time service are both down.

i've tried 2 different password and no luck. how do i reset the password so i can log in to cp manager?

if you don't have cp manager password, you may have to install the software again.

I don't think there's a "Back Door" password.

i have 2 passwords and neither one is working. why can't i reset it from the server?

i don't need a backdoor, just want to know where to reset it.

callpilot tools can reset the callpilot manager password for the 000000 account but you will need to get Nortel or an Authorized BP to reset it for you....

we don't discuss passwords here....

yes, i'm aware of that. i was reading some of the postings and discovered that i need the distributors password.

so i reached out to my vendor and may have to open a ticket to get the info i need. we'll see........

Just to let you know. they have now posted the distributor passwords on the nortel website. don't know if this is a sign of things to come, but I have found them all the way back to 2.02.

thanks janaya. i got it from a tech i have worked with before. so i reset the password and i'm good.

appreciate your tip though.
