I have a CallPilot user that gets a recording on voicemail that says that the message will self delete in 24 hours. His mail box is at 13% use.

Any one heard of this before?

Thanks,

Bob A.

I have done so....

He has the same class as everyone else.

I checked it out -- but thanks!

I listened to the VM and it is from the system--No Joke!

is it a direct msg or a broadcast, broadcast have a different auto delelte timer then personal

Yeah, I get this on my vm, CallPilot tells me the message will be deleted in 24hrs. Sure enough, after a day, it gets autodeleted.
Doesn't appear to be system wide, just my mailbox.

Err, heh, being the system admin, I guess I should look into it...

A bit late for this one, but oh well..

Voicemail deleletion is defined in the Mailbox class.
If you user is not wanting his vm to be deleted, then you can setup a new class for him.
I usually set this class up for all the PA's so their vm isn't zapped overnight.

If his class is one that doesn't have vm deletion active, then move him into a different class, save his profile, and then move him back into the old class again.

Good judgement
comes from experience,
which usually
comes from bad judgement..
