I've got a customer with a CP 150. MICS and CP 150 are at location A. Remote phones (connected via MCK routers) across street at location B. Users at location B need to access Call pilot manager for various reasons (via web browser).

Given facts:

Call pilot IP: 192.168.50.150
Location A user IP: 192.168.50.144 (CAN ACCESS CP MANAGER)
Location B user IP: 192.168.40.56 (CANNOT ACCESS CP MANAGER)

Location B user cannot ping CP at 192.168.50.150 (gets timeout. If I do a tracert from location B PC to call pilot IP - route dies at location A router 192.168.50.1.

I can ping back and forth between location A and location B PC's, so we are ok between networks....just NOT getting to CPilot.

IT manager claims it could be Call pilot blocking outside networks from accessing it thinking it might be getting hacked from internet.

Any suggestions??

From what I know about networks, user B has to be in the ip range of the Call Pilot. You can change the ip address to 192.168.50.56. Its the 40 in the ip address thats messing things up (I think). Your IT person should be able to fix the problem. Also, make sure the CP gets a static IP address.
