Do you have adequate power surge protection and a battery back up unit?
Are you plugged into a dedicated outlet that isn't overloaded?
Is your deicated outlet really a standard outlet with a refridgerator, or a microwave or an elevator on the same circuit?
Is your switchroom too warm all the time?
Are your users hoarding messsages in their mailboxes?
Do you have obsolete mailboxes enabled for people who are no longer there?
Is anyone monitoring and emptying the general delivery mailbox?
When you reboot your system are you allowing it to sit with power off for at least 30 seconds to let all of the capacitors run down before rebooting?
Is your switchroom really just a tiny little file room with people bashing your power cords all the time?
Is your switchroom also a janitorial closet?
If yes, do they hang their mops right over your system or lean them against your mainframe? (big grin, how I would love to strangle some janitors!)
As you can see, many factors can take their toll on a telephone or voice mail system. I think I'd call a technician out there if I were you.
