Can an extension belong to a hunting group if it has a call list with second choice to an external number?

Yes, a member of Hunt Group can have a call list in place. There is no restriction.

Direct calls to this member will be diverted if call list is active.

yes i know but call to group always makes the extension ring even if it has an active call list to an outside number...this is the problem..

Unless something changed a call list will only activate when the user number is dialled. It will be ignored on a group call as the caller dialled the group number not the user number.

Yes. It is the way the feature works for me.
