Call forwarding

I have a phone 1000 forwarded to 1001

1001 is forwrded offnet to a cell phone

1000 rings only at 1001 and never forwards to the cell phone

Any ideas?

It would be easier to set up a remote coverage path for 1000 or whatever sets you need to have go "off-net". Then you done.. If you really want to be creative, have SAC set to "no" on the inital coverage path and setup coverage path number 2(next linkage) as all no's except SAC "yes". Then when the user leaves they hit SAC and the calls follows them to their cell numbers. When SAC is not activated if follows their normal coverage path.

Sorry I should be more specific.

1000 forwards to 1001 because the on call supervisor is in the office.
When the on call supervisor leaves the office he forwards his phone to his cell.

So I need to have the calls ring his phone if he is in the office and dump the call into his VM which at this time it does. When he leaves I need it to ring his cell phone and dump the call into his vm. If I forward 1000 directly to his cell everything is fine.
Its just getting the call of 1000 to forward and follow the path to his cell phone I am having the issue.

Sounds like x-mobile EC500 would be a perfect solution.

When you initiate a call forward it is for the originators calls only, in this case 1000. If 1001 initiates a call forward it is for calls made directly to 1001 and not calls that have been forwarded to 1001. The scenario you list above is correct as a call made to 1000 that is forwarded to 1001 will never be forwarded on by 1001 and will only ever ring on the forwarded number, in this case 1001 and will never follow the forwarding that is set on 1001.
The only way i can see of overcoming this problem is as you already state, forward 1000 to the cell phone when the supervisor leaves the office

Thats why i use the coverage remote. It lets the user in effect have EC 500 without the cost. It will send the calls off net without the worries of toll fraud. Set it up as mentioned above and the user hits his SAC button and the calls go to his cell. Add the other phone number if you like then have it cover to his cell.
