Call forwarding needs to go to forwarded voice mail

Does anyone know how to set up an extension so that any calls forwarded to another extension go to the voicemails extension? Example: ext 1 and 2 .... both have voice mail .... ext 1 is forwarded to ext 2 but if no answer at ext 2 the voice mail goes to the original extension '1'. Any way to make this go to the forwarded extensions voice mail box - ext 2?

The only way I know to do it is if you have VM Pro and you set the leave mail action for #2 set to go to VM of #1. problem is, all calls that go to #2 will forward to #1 VM. Not just the forwarded calls.

You could forward ext 1 to a new hunt group that included ext 2 as member - gives you access to hunt's VM + queued and still queued messages - all should provide an means to accomplish what you want.
