I have a user who wants to be able to place two phantom lines into Call Forward (to individual voice mailboxes) and later take those same lines off of Call Forward. I've been reading up on "Call Forward - Follow Me - End Chaining" and "Call Forward - Follow Me - Reroute when Busy" but I'm not certain that these will do what they want to do.

Will someone please point em in the right direction? Detailed explanations would be of great help.

Respectfully.

we use forward follow me third party quite a lot

- has to be allowed in cos of ext setting/cancelling it and in cos of device being forwarded ( different setting for each)

- so for example
if you have ext 2001 that is the phantom number ( you have to make sure it is allowed to be forwarded third party)
- the cos setting is "Third Party Call Forward Follow Me Accept"

then if you have real ext 4001 ( it has to be allowed to set/cancel forward 3rd party)
- the cos settings is "Third Party Call Forward Follow Me Allow"

if the forward 3rd party code is **7 and the cancel forward 3rd party code is **1

then

ext 4001 could dial **7 2001 9000 and ext 2001 would be forwarded to 9000

to cancel it they could dial **1 2001 and the forward would be removed.

or you could add speed calls to the system
eg speed call 100 - number dialled is **720019000
speed call 101 - number dialled is **12001

to set diversion user dials 100 , to cancel user dials 101

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

and due to an endless stream of MiCollab , MiCC issues
Life would be simpler If only they tested products properly before releasing them .....
