Call forward

Is there any way to prevent a 500 set from manually call forwarding there calls.

if you print their tn you should see at the bottom ftr cfw
you want to take this out. so do a chg on the phone and at the item prompt put in ftr x and enter through. If this doesn't work out and rebuild the phone but dont include the cfw input and they should not be able to forward.

strange thing, yesterday i removed fna from class on a 3904. so it does not fna to voice mail, but the forward key is still there and it still works... to remove the ftr fdn xxxx from the set do a change to cls fnd mwd, the ftr goes away.. i've always assumed that that blocked hard forward from the set

I will give it a try and see what happens. I had my concerns that they could still use the feature code under the FFC in LD 57.

i would test it, yesterday morning i would have bet that that would disable the use of that feature code.. but the test on the 3904 was a surprise.. i am on rls 3, 81c

??? - sorry but I am confused now...

FDN - it's forward no answer (CLS FNA), and FTR FDN in 500 sets
CFW - it's call forward (imediat forward) ( CLS CFXA but only for external - Trunk access)
and it's a KEY for DSETS and FTR CFW for 500 and FTR XCFW to remove.
so I guess it's two diferent features.

cls fnd mwd will delete the ftr fdn xxxx line on that phone. if it is cfxa or cfta, you will need to add cfxd cftd to the class change... if you deny forward, (fnd) you can't allow call forward by type or call for external.. since you can't enter ftx fdn x1000, you can include the class mark mwd (msg waiting deny) and that along with fnd will delete the line ftr fdn
