I have a phatom DN programmed with DCFW to an off-site number. The CLS is set to CFXA, the NCOS on the trunks are set high enough but the call won't forward as programmed. The customer is able to manually forward a desk phone off-site without any issues, only the phantom DNs will not forward. I have set the DCFW to 9+number and ACOD+number but neither work. Any ideas?

Are all the appropriate settings the same for the desk phone and the phantom?
Are all test calls made in the same way, ie, does an outside call to the DID of the desk phone work, but an outside call to the DID of the phantom not work?

Can you post the Phantom TN....As thats an interesting one

Cheers!!

Have you tried to use a dummy ACD queue if so do you get the same result?

trvlr1 - Yes all settings are the same. Inbound DID calls to the desk phone work, even when forwarded. However inbound DID calls to the phantom do not work. Turned on D-channel messaging on the PRI and can see the call coming into the PBX and leaving but the carrier is blocking the call. Again, this only applies to phantom DNs. If a desk phone is forwarded off-site, it works fine.
tbonz25 - Yes, I've tried setting the DID up as a dummy ACD with NCFW to both 9+ and ACOD+ number and got the same results.
sl1m1 - Here's the TNB:

CLS 'CTD' (ConditonalTollDenied)change that to TLD, see what happens

Cheers!!

If you have tried this as a Dummy ACD and have the same result then it's not a cls issue in the phone. I would venture to say it's an issue with the FTOP in the CDB. Change the FTOP to FTTU and see if it works. By default it is FRES.

Also in your CDB under NET Data change EXTT to yes

KCFLHRC - tried changing FTOP as you suggested, was actually set to FTLY (FTTU was not an option). Changed to FTTB but call still fails. EXTT and TRNX were both already set to YES.

It's kinda strange this only happens on a phantom or dummy que and all other external forwards seem to work.

When you said "Turned on D-channel messaging on the PRI and can see the call coming into the PBX and leaving but the carrier is blocking the call." - that tells me the PBX is fine. The carrier is seeing an unexpected ANI or Caller ID and cannot figure out who is making the call, so it blocks it.

setup you CLID entry to send your main number if these phantom DNs are not part of DID range.

so if CLID 0 sends DID #
setup CLID 1 or above for your billing number or main number, then use that entry when you program your phantom TN

I tried changing the CLID but the call still fails. I too thought the carrier saw something it didn't like, but unfortunately desk phones in the DID range can be forwarded off-site without any issues. Only phantom DNs/ACDs will not work even though they are in the same range, and how would the carrier know if it's a phantom or not?

You should make sure that you set CLS = SFA to enable multiple calls via a phantom DN.
I'm assuming that the outgoing calls are going down the same route as your incoming call?.

If so, then check that you don't have RART'S and TBAR's in LD 56. Also check that the RDB is configured for TRMB = YES.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Try XFA in the cls......a 500 set should have transfer allowwed on a phantom dcfw
that is the only thing I see. You can also FTTU in the class too...(in the place of fttc)

I have found when using phantom's to dial out of the system you need to make sure the NCOS and the Tgar are set correctly and UNR needs to be in the cls.
