you helped me before, please help me again!!! this time its with something that should be very basic, but I appear to not be able to figure it out...

Assume I have a a project that has 10 clips or stills...just before I finish, I realize I have left out a clip/still...that 11th clip/still needs to go between clip/still 4 and 5...how can I insert it w/out having to manually move everythig over??? I think it should be with a ripple, but I can't seem to get it to work...please advise

Drmemory,
Several problems here. Only have Premiere 4.2 now installed on my machine. Suggest you have a look at the help files of your version under ripple. Inserting a clip between 2 other clips(in 4.2) is relatively simple, if all your clips are on the same track... While holding the mouse button down, just drag your clip and insert it between 2 clips.
There is another method described in the help files to insert a clip in the case you're using several tracks.
I would simply use the multitrack select tool, push down the tracks, insert my forgotten clip, and using the same tool, bring back the tracks to the end of my inserted clip.

;-)
