Hi,

I have a very intruiging problem.

I have an ACD with PSTN and Leased trunks. The PSTN interface is ISDN PRI while the Leased trunks are connected over Nortel Passports.

Problem:

I get a call over PSTN and it is answered by an agent.
The call has to be transfered to the second site over leased trunks.

The Agent presses flash(I have Analog phones) and tries to transfer the call to the second site by dialling the TAC and VDN at the far site.
When the agent transfers the call ( supervised or un-supervised) the call gets transferred.
But, when the agent conferences the call and then drops, the customer call is also dropped.

The Disp Sys Fea shows Trunk-to-Trunk Transfer: none

Is there something I am missing.

Thank You in advance for your time spent on this.

Look on your feature related sys parameters for this setting Abort Conference Upon Hang-Up? Make sure it is set to N

Hope this helps

Thanks ED.
The setting you mentioned already exists.

Any other suggestion?

Actually if I can explain it a little better.

The agent uses TAC to call the VDN at far end.
I have a hunch, this might have to do with Trunk to Trunk transfer..

Apologies..

There is a small correction.

The agent dials a local VDN which has the TAC and far end VDN.

If this helps to understand this a little better.

I don't think trunk to trunk is in play here. If it was the transfer would not happen. I think it is disconnect supervision mismatch. Test the same TAC but to a extension and not a VDN. IF it works back to the drawing board. If it don't we the have to look at the trunk. Trunk to trunk is when trunk 1 wants to use trunk 2. You are using a extension to trunk. Also try to do a list trace station for the TAC to VDN and TAC to Extension.

Good luck. Post back with the results
