Call Coverage Question

I have a G3si r.11.

Here is how we'd like the coverage for extension 1600 to work:

1. Rings 4 times at station.
2. Rings 4 times at a coverage answer-group.
3. If still unanswered, transfer to an auto-attendant on extension 1171 (Intuity Audix).

I'm running into a problem with step 3. When I put "1171" in the last position of the coverage path, it just rings and rings. It never goes to the voicemail for 1171. I understand why this is happening. Calls will stick with the coverage path for the original exension (1600) and won't follow coverage for 1171 (which would take it to the voicemail).

So, how can I get it to do what I want? I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Ron

MichiganRon,

set the Next Path Number in your 1600 coverage path to number of the auto-attendant's coverage path.

put the hunt group for audix for the last point and in the audix do 'change auto routing and put '1600' as the called number and '1171'as the mailbox to route calls.

Da-vi'do
