Has anyone recently purchased a call accouting package? What was the cost?

We've recently upgraded to an S8700 and previously had a wincall system. Is going to cost $2K or $3K to get the old system to work with the new phone system, and We thought it might be a good time to change call accounting systems.

Specfically I was thinking ecas lite or microcall.

Homisco has a CAS that resides on the Intuity voicemail system. I don't know if it is still available or how much. I think that it is purchased through Avaya.

P.S. For the best response to a question, read FAQ222-2244. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Please answer all questions so that I may have the info to assist you. Leaving a post on how you fixed the problem will also be appreciated.

I have just recently purchased and installed microcall. Their website tells you how much it will cost depending on how many users you are going to need. and oh! i do recommend them over ecas. It cost us 7K for 1000 users with the browser option. 750/mo on maintenance.

I have no technical solution to your management problem

Try AtComm. They sell the same product CPE or as a hosted service. Neat thing about the hosted service is you can buy for a workgroup and only pay for that rather than the entire company if that is all you need. Been around a long time. The outsourced version is simple to set up and you can have a free trial

I guess I'll chime in for Microcall. Been running it for about 3 years now. Works well for us. I like the ability to set up the reports to be emailed to my users. I forget that it's even running until my sorry PC that I'm collecting the data to crashes.

there is also ISI and Metropolis.....these are both window based applications that can ride on an existing PC in your network for easy access to the GUI.......they both connect cleanly to an Avaya.....can contact ISI on their website isi-info.com and metropolis on their's metropolis.com......the only you need to know is how many extensions you have and the pricing is based on that......the metropolis software can even be downloaded from their website and there is a demo there that you can use to see if it is the right 1 for you

To error is human.....if the machine dont work, then KICK IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Ecas. I like it very much. The cost was around $5K for 5 switch licenses x 1000 users. Very easy to use and web based.

Microtell. The best tech support around

We searched long and hard before finally making the decision to go with Microcall by Microtel. We looked at all the major players and Microcall had the most bangs for the buck. They have some of the best technical support people that I have had the pleasure of working with. (Avaya should take notes..) If you have any problems setting up any reports, they will step you through it. I have never had to wait to get someone (not an auto attendant, music on hold, or Tier 0), before someone would help.

I highly recommend their product and also suggest you keep their yearly maintenance as it is a very low price to pay to keep your software up to date and have access to such a great technical support team.
