I have posted numerous messages about the ActvieX Calendar Control...but none of the suggestions I've received have panned out. I need to figure out how to get ceratin dates on the calendar to become shaded if there is a job(matching record with that date) scheduled for that day. I've been to a few sites were they created their own calendar controls or there is come kind of MiniCalendar...this is not really what I'm looking for. I need to find out if there's a property or code that I can use on the OnLoadEvent of the calendar. Something like: If the date on calendar has matching record in tables then switch color or put some sort of mark on that date. I'm not very good with code so I'm not sure how to put this into computer language. Please someone help...I'm getting desperate....

with the calendar control that comes with access, you CANNOT change the color of just one day on the calendar. The only choices are: Border color, Background color, Font color for the days(all), Font color for the Grid(all), and the Title color.

the only way to do what you want is to create your own control.

I was afraid that that was the case. Thanks anyway :-)

dani if you want you can sand me your email address and I will sand you an access file with a calendar form, it comes with the book "Access 97 developer's Handbook" and there you could customize it.
