Is there a way to change the timeline for the "Day View" to display 7am to 7pm rather than the 24hrs?

Right click on your calendar>Other Settings

Is your time scale at 60 minutes? Mine's set to 30 minutes and I only see 14 hrs at a time.

Also check Tools>Options>Under Calender select Calender Options and make sure your Start and End times are set.
