If this involves summary calculations then read on, otherwise I can't help...
You should be able to use a Find on the View (not the Find/Sort Assistant) as long as the following are true:
1-The calculation allows a "Summarize on:" option (not grayed out) in the field definition dialog, Define Summary tab.
2-The find is performed while in Print Preview.
Cautionary note: The "Summarize on:" option may have to be set for the specific summary panel where the field is located. Generally, using "Summary panels where this field is placed" works but be aware that you may have to change it.
If it's a compound calculation using other summary calcs (i.e. Total Sales/Total Qty) then you have to trick the field into thinking it's a summary calculation so you can define the appropriate "Summarize on:" option (see #1 above and cautionary note). Thought it doesn't appear to make sense, most times you can use SMax(existing formula) because there is only one value in the panel to calculate anyway.
If you want to run the find in a macro, don't forget #2 above.
Experiment with this and if you have any other questions just ask...
