Cache name server?

We have a cache name server for our clients using bind 9.2.1-1.7x.2, & also we have a primary & secondary name servers for the domains registered by our clients.
How can I let our cache server direct the queries recieved for each domain exist in the primary & secondary servers directly to them without trying to resolve them?

Let your cache resolve them. That's what it's there for!

Why don't you set up the caching servers as 'ghost' secondaries for the zones in question (ie no entry in the SOA for the zone)?

You will also need to:
1. configure your primary or other secondaries to allow transfers to the 'ghost' secondaries
2. set the also-notify option on the zones that you want transferred to the 'ghost' secondaries.
