I am so use to using a 25 pair AMP cable that I find installing the IP office with all of these RJ11 plugs is somewhat messy and time consuming. I am also concerned about the customer moving the plugs around trying to mess with the system. I found this to be a problem with the Partner systems. Just a mess of cable pairs and loose connections. Is there an option for the IP Office for a faster more secure way to connect both the station cables and loop start line cables? Maybe a different housing?

What about a proper cabling where the cabling is connected to a patch panel.
Then you need to use a patch cable per port from the IPOffice to the patch panel.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Indeed, in old installations where voice cabling is in use we run voice links as Peter described, so a patch panel with 24/48 pairs terminated going onto the IDC/Krone/110 punch down strips. If you are still installing old style voice cabling for systems, you aren't doing anyone any favours really, structured cabling is more versatile and equally tidy if done correctly :)

David, you asked a very similar question in Aug last year and nothing has changed, it isn't likely to either. I understand where you live/work may have a lot of legacy cabling installed but that's an exception, Avaya have to go with what's current and most widely used so that means RJ45 connectors is the best approach for the vast majority :)
