c0070005 access denied

Hi there we have a bit of a crisis! We're getting error c0070005 when we try to access anything including the event viewer when logged in as administrator!

This is the 2nd client in 2 days that this has happened 2 and we have yetg not found a fix?

any help?

Did you try checking to see the security settings on the C: drive (especially the Windows directories). Ensure that Administrators have Full Control and there are no deny permissions applied to the Everyone group. I have seen this behavior when someone modified the ACL at the root of C: and propagated the change to all subfolders. Hope this helps.

as i had posted on another forum. just gotta find out who did this, as every groupe was added to the administrator account!
