Can we control a printer through a C Program

Can you be more specific??
System? OS? And what you mean by controlling a printer.

In case u wish to say printing with different fonts or skipping lines on output, its possible.

In case u are using latest printers which follow ESC/P2 (ASCII code) sequences then you should also be able to print a previous line.

However its the application platform which would decide your actual restrictions.

PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT THE OS WHERE THE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED TO BE RUN.
