I just upgraded my Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2002. Now when I try to open certain emails, I get the runtime error "This application as requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way..." Then I get the message "There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font.

I tried the fix on Microsoft to uncheck the Exchange Scan option, but I don't have that option.

I do think it is only happening to internal emails. All others open just fine.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

I'm answering my own question. I download Microsoft updates for Office XP and lo and behold, it fixed my problem. Maybe this will help someone else along the way.
