C-Lan card

Can a Definity with a V8 Processor have a C-Lan card fitted. I thought it was from V9 onwards.

yes it can. afaik c-lan boards first appeared in r7 and were used for cms connectivity, somewhere around r8 it became possible to use c-lan for administration tasks and ip telephony, and in r9.5 it is possible to use it for cdr collection.

As mentioned above, C-LAN boards were first introduced in V7 for adjunct connectivity (CMS, Intuity ADUDIX, etc.). Beginning in V9 it could be used for CDR and telnet access to the PBX.

Yes, CLAN will work ON R8. It was used for connection to the CMS.
