We are currently rolling out a domain system to our W95/98 users. We have 1 PDC and 2 BDCs. Let's just say for arguments sake that they're not synchronizing properly, and the PDC goes down.

Is it possible for our users to just logon to their windows desktop without network settings? At the moment, there is no way of bypassing the domain logon.

Any simple solutions?

Thanks
Mike

If you just want the users to have access to their local machines, they can just hit escape when the logon box appears - they won't have access to any domain resources though.

But if a domain server is not available, they should just get the standard windows logon box, and provided their NT domain and windows 95/98 passwords are the same, they should be able to log on to the station without problems.
