Hi all,

One of my handsets has lines listed for some of it's buttons and I need to change those specific buttons to certain functions, such as Park, page etc. How can i go about doing that. I went into button programming for the handset but it doesn't have the feature to change those specific buttons. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

If you have lines programmed on the set where you would like to have features programmed then you have to remove the lines in programming. Do you know how to do that?

Once you remove the lines then add the features via feature * 3 followed by feature then code. I.E. for call park press feature * 3 then press the button you want followed by feature 74...done.

I haven't used the featuring in a while, and I don't remember how to remove the lines from the buttons. I'd appreciate any help.

once you get into set programming, go to sets then press show.

find lines then remove any lines that are assigned to the extension.

after you unassign you can press feature * 0 then the button that you want to program. It should say blank button.

if you get this far you are good to go

Thanks guys, I got it figured out and it's all back to normal. Much appreciated for all the advice.
