Can anyone tell me what the Busy Threshold field is when you do a disp trunk group? It's on the first screen. It's set to 99 for all of our trunk groups...I'm just verifying that I don't need to change this?

We have two PRI's (TG 11 and TG 12) and a group of POTS (TG1).

I want to make sure that if TG11 is busy, that calls go out on TG 12, and if TG 12 is busy they go out on TG1 if necessary.

Does the Definity know that if all of the members in TG11 are busy, it should go to TG 12, assuming that the route patterns are configured to follow this order:

Grp 1: TG11
Grp 2: TG12
Grp 3: TG1

Thanks!

I don't think the 'busy threashold' has anything to do with anything except the busy lights on the attendant console for each trunk.

P.S. For the best response to a question, read FAQ222-2244. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Please answer all questions so that I may have the info to assist you. Leaving a post on how you fixed the problem will also be appreciated.

That would be in your ARS analysis. There you can list multiple trunk groups for your outbound calls to use(up to six as I see it). If you want to do as you described, set TG11 as your first option, the TG12, then TG1. The system will try TG11 first, and in an ATB scenario, look to TG12, and so on.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.
