Busy/Release IP phones

I've made a change to the settings file and need to download it to a phone for testing in a different office.

If I busy and release a 4621 is that the same as a hard reboot by disconnecting and reconnecting the network cable in order to download the new settings file?

Be aware you will lose any call logs on that IP phone when you busy and release. If you have someone that is anal about the call logs, advise them in advance.

I've had them not re-register sometimes

you could also use the command:

"reset ip-stations ipaddr XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
