How do I create a chart in BusinessObjects using a calculated field? When I chart these, the data does not show on the chart.

Make the calculated field into a variable and you'll be able to chart it.
If you are talking about a calculation that exists in the footer (a total), you're out of luck. You can only chart things in the body of a block.
