Dear all,

Is it possible to use A1 interface of SBC (private) to connect SIP Trunk instead of public interface of SBC (B1) ?

Thank you

The question should be a little different. It sounds like you are trying to use one interface only for SIP trunk. This would be a "one-wire" configuration. Yes, you can use just A1 to provide connectivity to both the Session Manager and the SIP carrier. Not necessarily my favorite however I have done it when customers refuse to have more than a single subnet in the DMZ and the ASBCE is sandwiched between two firewalls.

Carrier<-->firewall<-->A1<-->firewall<-->SM

Good Jimbojimbo..thank you

so I can use only A1 interface for both carrier and private side.
The B1 will not be used anymore
