IS-IT--Management
I have Windows 2003 Small Busniess Server. I actually have 3 of them, for 3 different clients. 2 of them will not allow me to run the 'Connect to the Internet' wizard in the server managment window. What happens is, I run through all the questions, I enter the proper info for connection, firewall settings, website certificate info, and email options. When I finish that, the CONNECTION is successful, the FIREWALL is not (gives me a red x), website cert is successful (but it isn't really), and the email setup is successful.
I can not find a difference between the 2 systems that fail, and the 1 system that is completely successful. I am not running ISA on any of them, nor do I plan on it. The all have STATIC IPs, 1 connects with PPPoe DSL (direct to modem), 1 conencts to a ADSL (via a router), and the one that works is connected to a Fractional T1 (via a router).
Now I should say, that all 3 used to do this, I have no idea what changed on the 1 that does work, other than it had been 6 months since I'd tried it last. I've attempted to install new software's but none of them are currently running on this server. It's basicly the same setup as the 2 that don't.
Is there a LOG that will tell me what is failing, cause I can not find one.
PLEASE HELP!!!
