I changed my media servers a while back to be 64k buffer size instead of the default 32kb and also changed to number of data buffers from 8 to 16 for my DLT7000 media servers. I am seeing some very slow times across the network for my Exchange Mailboxes backups? Would changing the Communications buffer size in the client properties to 64 also help this issue? Do any of you have this option set to 128kb or greater for clients or would changing it to 64 be as high as I would want to set this. Thanks for any input!

Change client side setting to 128 + 1 = 129 Kb for better results.

Thanks

The software includes the extra 1k so adding it is no longer necessary.
