Browser Won't Load

Client has a dial-up connection. Dials up fine, can ping, and can resolve DNS requests.
Problem is that IE simply will not load any pages by name or IP. Progress simply scrolls slowly- doen't even timeout.

Thanks for any insight.

If the dialup happens when you open IE, then I would attempt a reinstall of IE, if it's 5 or above try repairing via the add/remove programs in control panel.
