I have a Windows 2000 Adv server as one of several member servers to a Windows 2000 Adv server Domamain controller. They are all up to date with the MS Security and patches. This one member server seems to deni access to users accesing database every once in a while. Last night I had to bounce the server so they can get back in to the access databases. This morning I was going through the event logs and found this:
"The browser service has failed to retrieve the backup list too many times on transport \Device\NwlnkNb. The backup browser is stopping".
This happened right around the time when the users couldn't access the databases.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
