I'm building a site for a charity at the moment..but when they try to view the pages they get this message

(Error: document images [....] null or not an object).

Does this mean that they haven't got javascript enabled on their browser??

thanks

No, it means they have JavaScript enabled, it's working correctly and is picking up an error in your code.

Post a link to the page that causes the error and we'll help you figure it out.

I get the error message when I go to the 'contributors' section - it is most likely a typo in your onmouseover image-swapping. It looks like it is trying to swap (or pre-load) an image file but cannot find the reference (javascript typo) or there is no such image file.

Check your code :)

Thanks you 2... sorted now!

On the non-index.htm pages I'd "frozen" the javascript by replacing the spacer.gifs with actual images... the javascript didn't like this cos I still had the image swaps in the navigation bar section. I just had to replace the spacer gifs so they all acted like the index page.

but...As I still wanted that effect, and "uneditable" cos of templates, I've gone for layers to hide the image swaps when I don't want them!

Thanks for your help
