Hi,

I just got my apache(1.3.19) installation done on solaris 7.could someone guide me through the web administration of apache? I believe the changes to httpd.conf can be done through a URL?

Thanks
Sunil

See This is a complete web-based system administration kit, not just Apache.

I recommend, though, if you are going to be working with this system, that you also learn how to configure your machine from the command line. It's an essential skill to running a good Unix system.

In redhat distros, sometimes if the linuxconf utility is enabled via web configuration (not recomended), you can configure apache settings in there. You can enable it is /etc/inetd.conf I believe.

It is always best to do it via command line though, for security and learning's sake... Rninja
