Broadcast Mailbox Question

I'm trying to get my broadcast mailbox working. I built it as an acdn pointing to voicemail. It's built as a vsdn in MM. I assigned the DN as the broadcast DN in voice messaging options but when I try to compose a message to it, it says that there is no mailbox programmed. Do I have to build it as a mailbox too? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To use broadcast you need to have a mailbox with broadcast capability allowed. I think it's in the Class of Service.
You can allow it on any mailbox you want but I would suggest you create a mailbox specifically for broadcasts. That way you can have a unique Personal Verification message that the recipients hear when they get the messages.

You don't need to create an ACDN or enter it in the VSDN table.
