BrightStor ARCServe Backup and Sony LIB81 AIT3 Library 2

Hi we have just recievd our new Sony LIB81 AIT3 Libray for our Backup. I Installed BrightStor ARCServe Backup and the ARCServe Backup Library Option on a Test Server. The install of the SW was without any errors.
I also can see the Library an the 8 Slots with tapes. Under the Device Menu i see the TAPES and all are Named <Blank Media>.
Now when i´m traying to format or errase them i recieve the following message:
Device 0 Format failed: Command Aborted
and the Tape in slot 0 is now Named < UnredableTape> but Tapes are not write Protected.
In the Activity log i recive the following error Messages:
E6001 and E8021.
I have controlled also the scsi controller the cabels but i don´t now where else i can find something.
Pleas help me!!

normal procedure:
1. check CA CDL;
2. update the SCSI adapter driver;
3. disable the tape drive and changer in OS device manager;
4. apply the latest CA service pack and device support patch.

Thank you for your Tips. It was the driver of the SCSI adapter. I have downloaded the last driver from Adaptec and
then installed this one and it looks god.
