Hi
when I add snap-in on W2k Server, the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Client Agent need installation files, but when I add CDROM, the situation is back.

Hi all,
we have the same problem,
is there a solution?

Thanks for help.

Hi,

On the machines that have the client agents installed..

Delete the values of the following keys...

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C83216B2-A4E5-11D2-970B-0080C7DCB3DC}\InprocServer32\InprocServer32

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{CED3C801-A4E5-11D2-970B-0080C7DCB3DC}\InprocServer32\InprocServer32

So it Shall be Written!
So it Shall be Done!!

thanks ...,

I found another solution:

On the machines that have the client agents installed:
While the process to add a snap-in a file "InstFeature.exe" was created in \CA\SharedComponents\Brightstor\UniAgent,
but this file was not stored permanently.
You have to make a copy of this file and add the file "InstFeature.exe" in this directory (\CA\SharedComponents\Brightstor\UniAgent).
When you want to add a snap-in now, you don't get the messages above.

I asked CA, but I haven't get an answer until today...

Bye
