Hi everyone. I am trying to add more then one appearance to a station and the first one works, but the additional one does not ring or work at all. Is there a different COS or COR I need to use?
 
If you are installing these additional bridged appearances on digital set you will need to go to their station forms and turn on (y) bridged call alerting. This should make it ring for you.

If you find any mistakes, please consider that they are there for a purpose. And everyone needs a purpose.

You can only bridge the number of appearances that appear on the original phone. If the original has 3 appearances, you can only bridge 3 appearances on any given phone. You can add the 3 appearances to to any number of phones.
 
I already have the bridged call alerting turned on and it works for one appearance that I already have set on that phone. It won't work for the additional appearance that I am trying to add to that phone. So the one station has two different bridged appearances from two seperate stations.

So one works and one doesn't.

I turned the per button ring control but it is still no go. What do you mean switch it to "r"?
 
You may also want to check whether the ring is set for either single or continuous; go the the 2nd page of programming, and to the Active Station ringing, set this for continuous and see that happens.
 
Thanks for all the help guys. It still is not working out for me. Does anyone at all have more then one station's appearance set up on another station. Like if more then one executive shared the same secretary.

I have users with 4 different Bridged appearance stations. I have on page two "Active station ring set to Continuous"
the "r" on button control for station is to ring the line.

I will spare you how stupid I am cause I figured out the problem. Thanks so much for all of your help. If you are really curious how stupid I am maybe I will post what the problem was.
 
Originally the station had appearance # 1 - # 3 of another station. Well when I went in and changed the station to another one but I left the appearance set as button # 2. DUH, what a maroon I am.

I think weallhave days like that...
I had one of them last tuesday, couldn't for the life of me figure out why a bunch of incoming calls were routing the wrong way.
Ended up being that our intuity had last years date for memorial day in the holiday schedule.
 
It happens.
