Brick level restore to a different location

Is it possible to restore mailboxes from my brick level back to a .pst file or to any other location besides the exchange server?

No this is not possible and there is no workaround either.

You you can restore your mailbox to a temp mailbox or even subfolder and then from outlook to can export it to pst file or even you can you one exchange utility I can't remember it is name toe extract the temp mailbox to pst file.

Thanks for help. If you have any more information, please post it. I'm trying to get the mailboxes to a PST file for we can change over to notes from exchange. I have about 220 users mailboxes with each having about 100MB of space. I know once I get each mailbox to a PST file, I can move it to note. The best way to do that is for me to restore my full brick level backup.

Instead on restoring your full brick level backup I think it is better to restore the whole Information Store to another server and then try to extract each mailbox using exchnage utility.
becuase restoring the brick level backup require to have a mailbox for each mailbox you want to restore.

For the server I restore the Information Store to, does it have to have Exchange on it? Also where can I find the exchange utility?

Sure exchange Server & Arcserve exchange agent has be installed before start restoring Information Store.

utility name is EXMERGE and you can find in exchange resource kit.
